Invitation to the opening of the exhibition “Vukovar Museum – Presence over Time”
At 19.00 hours on Friday, 20 October 2017 at the Museum Lapidarium
Professor Ružica Marić, director of the Vukovar Museum, will give the introductory lecture in the Town Hall, Veliki Trg 1, in Novigrad at 18.00 hours.
The exhibition of artwork from the Vukovar Museum collections will be open until 19 December 2017.
There will be many programmes including guided tours of the exhibition, films about Antun Bauer, Lavoslav Ružička, Vučedol – An Acropolis on the Danube, introductions to the Museum of the Vučedol Culture and many workshops, on the wealth of history of the Vukovar region, its cultural monuments, war events, exile and the renewal of the Vukovar heritage.
This exhibition is part of the Museum Lapidarium programme entitled “Getting to Know Croatian Museums”.
